The 7th edition of Battery & Energy Storage Indonesia 2023 will be held on 2 – 4 March 2023 and is expected to present over 650 exhibiting companies and 25.000 trade visitors in 3 days. It will notably serve as one of ASEAN’s most prospective one-stop platforms for the rechargeable battery and energy storage industry.
Energy storage will play a crucial role in enabling the next phase of the energy transition, integration of renewable energy, and unlocking the benefits of local generation and clean energy. A key component of energy storage is consuming the majority of energy generated by onsite solar photovoltaic (PV), electrical vehicles, and other distributed generation (DG) systems.

Large energy produced from PV systems, wind, and hydropower certainly will need storage systems to be stored, and it will be used when required. In addition, the developing number of hospitals, telecommunication companies, electronics manufacturers, infrastructure, heavy equipment, research centers, and laboratories also drive huge demand for industrial rechargeable batteries and energy storage in Indonesia. This is a great potential for battery and energy storage companies and stakeholders to gain the market.
