동남아시아 최대 규모의 ‘인도네시아 산업기계 산업 전시회 2025(Manufacturing Indonesia)’가 자카르타 JIExpo 전시관에서 2025년 12월 3일(수)부터 12월 6일(토)까지 4일간 개최되었습니다.

이번 전시회는 29개국 1,000여 개 이상의 기업이 참가한 동남아시아 최대 규모의 산업기계 전시회로, 동남아 제조 산업을 선도하는 최첨단 기술과 혁신 솔루션을 한눈에 확인할 수 있는 자리였습니다. 또한 참가기업과 바이어, 업계 관계자 간의 실질적인 비즈니스 협력과 기술 교류가 활발히 이루어졌습니다.

한국에서도 다수의 기업이 참여해 우수한 국내 제조 기술력을 선보였으며, 그중 경북 영천시에 소재한 UJ TECH는 신규 바이어 발굴을 목적으로 이번 전시회에 참가했습니다. UJ TECH는 두 축을 연결하는 동력 전달 장치인 유니버설 조인트를 생산하는 기업으로, 이번 전시회가 금년 두 번째 자카르타 방문이었습니다.

또한 경북 포항에 본사를 둔 국내 연마지석 시장 점유율 1위의 글로벌 기업인 제일연마공업의 현지 법인도 참가하여, 경상북도 기업의 우수한 기술력을 널리 알리는 계기가 되었습니다.

경상북도사무소는 UJ TECH 및 제일연마공업 관계자들과 함께 현재 인도네시아 진출 현황을 공유하고, 향후 현지 시장 진출 확대를 위한 지원 방안 등에 대해 논의했습니다.

한편, 인도네시아는 자국 제조업 육성을 위해 자국산 부품 사용 의무화(TKDN) 정책과 수입 규제 등 다양한 보호 정책을 적극적으로 시행하고 있습니다. 특히 전자제품, 가전 등 주요 산업 분야에서 현지 생산 비중을 확대하고 수입을 제한함으로써 내수 시장과 제조업 기반 강화를 추진하고 있어, 우리 기업들의 선제적이고 전략적인 대응이 필요한 상황입니다.

Manufacturing Indonesia 2025, the largest industrial machinery exhibition in Southeast Asia, was held at the JIExpo Exhibition Center in Jakarta from December 3 (Wed) to December 6 (Sat), 2025, for four days.

This year’s exhibition brought together over 1,000 companies from 29 countries, making it the largest event of its kind in the region. It served as a key platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions leading Southeast Asia’s manufacturing industry. The event also provided valuable opportunities for practical business cooperation and technology exchange among participating companies, buyers, and industry professionals.

A number of Korean companies took part in the exhibition to present their advanced manufacturing technologies. Among them, UJ TECH, based in Yeongcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, participated with the goal of discovering new local buyers. UJ TECH specializes in producing universal joints, a power transmission device that connects two rotating shafts. This exhibition marked its second visit to Jakarta this year.

In addition, the local subsidiary of Cheil Grinding Wheel Ind. Co., Ltd., a global company headquartered in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do and holding the No.1 market share in Korea for grinding wheels, also participated in the exhibition. This served as a meaningful opportunity to promote the outstanding technological capabilities of Gyeongsangbuk-do companies in the Indonesian market.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Jakarta Office met with representatives from UJ TECH and Cheil Grinding Wheel to share updates on their current business status in Indonesia and to discuss future support measures for expanding their presence in the local market.

Meanwhile, Indonesia is actively implementing various industrial protection policies, including the TKDN (Local Content Requirement) policy and import regulations, in order to foster its domestic manufacturing industry. In key sectors such as electronics and home appliances, the government is promoting increased local production and restricting imports to strengthen its domestic market and manufacturing base. Under these circumstances, Korean companies are required to take proactive and strategic approaches to enter and expand in the Indonesian market.
